Leading Indonesian law firm Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung (HBT) has advised PT Danantara Investment Management (DIM), the investment arm of Indonesia's newest sovereign wealth fund BPI Danantara, on the establishment of its US$5 billion global medium-term note programme and US$1.5 billion bond issuance in the international capital markets under this programme.

This marks DIM's inaugural US Dollar bond issue in the international capital markets following its successful domestic bond issues in 2025 and early 2026.

“We’re delighted to have advised DIM on its debut in the international capital markets, which attracted strong global investor demand and marks an important milestone in its funding strategy.” said HBT managing partner Tjahjadi Bunjamin, who led the team advising DIM.

The issuance is dual-tranche, comprising a US$750 million five-year tranche carrying a yield of 5.35 per cent and a US$750 million 10-year tranche priced at a yield of 5.95 per cent.

Both tranches attracted significant international demand, with US, European and Middle East investors accounting for the majority of allocations.

Tjahjadi was assisted by senior associate Defina Rosa Tantri and associates Karaninda Siregar and Raudhatul Jannah.
