Frances Hewitt
Frances is a projects, energy and infrastructure lawyer on secondment to Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung from Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer.
Frances works primarily on public and private mergers and acquisitions in the energy and resources sectors.
Frances has substantial experience drafting, negotiating and advising on contracts for international mining, oil and gas and infrastructure projects. Her energy and resources experience includes asset acquisitions and disposals, due diligence investigations, project structuring and related project documents for major energy and resource projects.

- Medco Energi on the US$425 million acquisition of Fortuna International (Barbados) from Repsol E&P, which holds an indirect 24% interest in the Corridor Production Sharing Contract
- J Resources Asia Pasifik on the US$540 million sale of Arafura Surya Alam, an Indonesian gold mining company, to Danusa Tambang Nusantara, a subsidiary of United Tractor and member of the Astra group
- ChemOne on the sale of its 50% interest in petrochemical company Petro Oxo Nusantara to Tuban Petrochemical Industries
- Enaex, a subsidiary of Chilean business group Sigdo Koppers, on its A$125 million acquisition of MTi Group, a global leader in blasting consumables for mining
- Santos in relation to its A$22 billion merger with Oil Search under a PNG scheme of arrangement
- Shell on its sale to Global Infrastructure Partners of a 26.25 percent interest in the Queensland Curtis LNG facilities for US$2.5 billion
