He spends his time problem-solving for clients and working on complex commercial disputes, formal restructuring proceedings in Indonesia (including court-supervised debt restructuring and bankruptcy) and debt recovery actions, most with a cross-border element.

Roni is experienced in coordinating and managing Indonesian commercial disputes and formal restructuring proceedings as well as debt recovery actions, regularly appearing as lead counsel in these proceedings. He advocates before Indonesian courts for clients ranging from regional and global banks to financial buyers and multinational corporations across an array of industry sectors.
Roni is praised by Legal500 as a ‘key lawyer’ in the area of restructuring, turnaround, and insolvency in Indonesia and was shortlisted as a ‘Rising Star’ for Restructuring and Insolvency in the 2023 Legal500 Southeast Asia Awards.
Roni is a member of the Indonesian Advocates Association and was admitted to practice law in 2015. He is also an administrator and receiver licensed with Indonesia's Ministry of Law and Human Rights.
