Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung expands corporate practice with large round of promotions and new hires in Jakarta

Leading Indonesian law firm Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung has announced five new partner-level promotions and appointments in its corporate and M&A practice. The investment follows several years of record client demand and the firm's regular involvement in headline corporate transactions.

The expansion of the senior corporate team, all based in Jakarta, further strengthens the firm’s sought-after service to top international and local clients on corporate transactions.

The expansion also builds on Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung's strong 22-year association with leading international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills, with two of the promotions amongst Herbert Smith Freehills' international counsel seconded to Jakarta.

"This record round of senior appointments reflects both of our firms' confidence in the opportunities generated by Indonesia’s expanding and evolving economy,” said Hiswara Bunjamin & Tandjung Managing Partner Tjahjadi Bunjamin.

"These talented lawyers reflect both our traditional strengths as a firm and the diversity and legal innovation now entrenched here in Indonesia and through our ever-growing association with Herbert Smith Freehills."
